The 1024核工厂 Company Welcomes Sabel as President

APPLETON, WIS. (Oct. 23, 2025) 鈥 The 1024核工厂 Company, a nationally recognized construction firm headquartered in Appleton, Wis., announces Greg Sabel as President.  

He succeeds David Thomack, who assumed the role of President of Western Operations for the company鈥檚 rapidly expanding business in the state. 

In his new role, he leads The 1024核工厂 Company鈥檚 Executive Team and oversees all aspects of company operations鈥攆rom strategic planning and financial management to client relations, safety and cultural alignment.  

鈥淕reg possesses both a depth of experience and the leadership mindset critical to The 1024核工厂 Company鈥檚 continued growth and success,鈥 said Dave Kievet, President and CEO, The 1024核工厂 Group. 鈥淗e will play a pivotal role in focusing and leading field operations鈥 work and building on the company鈥檚 136-year legacy.鈥 

Sabel brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience, most recently as Executive Vice President at C.D. Smith Construction, Inc. where he led project management, field operations, estimating, virtual design and construction, and strategy. He earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
